EUROPEAN TOUR
Dubai Duty Free Irish Open
Ryan Fox played well again this week with rounds of 67,66,70,68 to finish at 17 under par and tied for 4th place. Not only did Fox earn a huge pay day but he also secured a start in the Open Championship in two weeks’ time at Royal Birkdale. Ryan has established himself as a contender on the European Tour and has moved up the Race to Dubai table to be in 28th position. The winner this week was Spaniard Jon Rahm who raced to a six stroke victory and a 24 under par total to win his first event on the European Tour.
EUROPEAN SENIORS TOUR
Greg Turner scored a five under par final round to finish six under in total and tied for 20th place in the Swiss Senior Open this week. The winner was Philip Golding -15.
PGA TOUR
Greenbrier Classic-
Danny Lee continued his great form lately and this week finished in a tie for 9th at 9 under par with rounds of 64, 68, 70 and 69. It was a very exciting finish this week with many players in contention an the eventual winner was Xander Schauffele who finished ahead of the field on -14 to claim his first tour win in his rookie year.
JAPAN TOUR
Mike Hendry played well again this week in the Shigeo Nagashima Invitational on the Japan Tour.
Michael finished 12 under par for the week which was good enough to tie for 6th place, sixth strokes behind the winner Chan Kim. Hendry is looking forward to joining Ryan Fox at The Open in two weeks’ time
LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR
THAILAND CHAMPIONSHIP
The Thailand Championship was won by 14 year old amateur Atthaya Thitikul. Thitikul kept her composure in the final round to score par 72 and win by two strokes. Kiwi Cathryn Bristow finished in a tie for 47th.
SYMETRA TOUR
Liv Cheng missed the cut this week in the Donald Ross Centennial Classic.
