TOURNAMENTS

RUN YOUR OWN PRO-AM

Introduction
Pro-Ams, as the name suggests, are golf tournaments in which Professionals and Amateurs are grouped together. This can be in almost any configuration.
The most common is one Professional with a team of three amateurs, although sometimes it is two on two.
One major NZ event is played with two Professionals and the team of three amateurs.
You can chose to hold a regular pro-Am with PGA Tour Players, or a Legends event with Australasian PGA pros who are 50+
All Pro-Ams are open to PGA members, male or female.

Pro-Ams:
  • Are great for the Golf Club’s profile and standing in the community.
  • The members get a rare opportunity to play alongside PGA Professionals.
  • Sponsors can get excellent exposure for their services or product.
  • Financially they can be successful for the Club or a chosen charity.
  • Create competitive playing opportunities for New Zealand’s Professional golfers.
Sponsors can also benefit from the visiting players and supporters, staying and frequenting restaurants and motels in the area.
