Kieran Muir finished the 2016 season on a high note with a double pay day. Kieran scored a five under par 67 to win the Duncan and Ebbett Mount Maunganui Pro am by a single stroke from Harry Na, Harry Bateman and Grant Moorhead who were all on 68. The Mondiale NZPGA Order of Merit was also on the line and Kieran after beginning the day in third position earned enough money to overtake Brad Shilton and the leader for most of the season Nick Gillespie. Kieran won $5,000 for the Mondiale Order of Merit and gets his name on the Andy Shaw trophy. Andy Shaw was one of New Zealands greatest players and won 7 NZ Open titles as well as 7 NZPGA titles.  The Mount maunganui event concludes the NZPGA  pro am series for 2016 and I would like to wish all our members and friends a safe and Happy Christmas.
