Auckland Professional, Harry Na, has fired a hot bogey free 63 to take out the years first Pro Am event, the Cardinal Logistics Whitford Park Pro Am. A wet Auckland summer saw a very scoreable Whitford Park Golf Club presented and a lot of the players shaking off season rust took advantage.

Round 1 in the two day event saw North Harbour Professional, Jake Meenhorst, have the solo lead after carding a -5 66, one shot ahead of Mike Hendry, Harry Na and Kerry Mountcastle.

Round 2 on Sunday 15th January saw the good scoring continue for some and not so much for others. Jake Meenhorst had a slow front nine of +2 after double bogeying the 2nd hole, meanwhile Harry Na went guns blazing on the front nine with 6 birdies and no bogeys for an opening 30 and a potential course record in sight. Harry didn't let off the gas with three more birdies and no bogeys to finish off with an impressive 63 and a -12 clubhouse lead. Jake was determined not to let his front nine stop him though and 6 birdies, one bogey on the back nine lead to a -3 68 and a tournament score of -8, but sadly still four shots off Harry Na. 3rd place was rounded out by Mason Lee and Mike Hendry who both finished on -6 for both rounds.
