Momoka Kobori has returned from her stint in Europe on the Ladies European Access Tour to win the TrueForm Spas Huapai Pro-Am by a couple of shots.

The impressive Cantabrian has turned many heads this year, earning her Ladies European Tour card for next year after finishing third on their Order of Merit. Her solid form has continued back home as she carded a four-under 66 to beat Kerry Mountcastle and Richard Lee.

She made five birdies and a bogey on her way to the tournament-winning score.

One of the day’s highlights came from Jerry Ren, who hit the perfect shot on the 16th by using the slope behind the hole and spinning his ball back into the hole to record an ace. He finished in a sfare of eighth after a round of 71.

Huapai Golf Club also organised a prize for the most birdies, which was sponsored by Econowaste. Johnny Tynan made six to claim the bonus prize.

The final event on the Ramada by Wyndham NZPGA Order of Merit is the $60k 36-hole Cello Invitational on the 15th & 16th of November played at Millbrook Coronet & Jacks Point in Queenstown.

Josh Geary is looking to overtake Harry Bateman for the season-long honours.
