While those two results themselves may have stolen headlines, there were many other Kiwi performances for New Zealand golf fans to be proud of.
 
Ten New Zealanders (including Alker and Fox) finished inside the top 25 on their respective tours around the globe.
 
Kerry Mountcastle led the way, recording his best finish on the Clutch Pro Tour with a share of fourth at The Links Challenge at Princes.
 
Mountcastle shot 70 and 71 to finish three-under in the two-round event, finishing five shots back of the runaway winner.
 
The Masterton golfer made eight birdies across the two rounds but dropped five shots. He finished a shot back of second.
 
Michael Hendry was another who found himself inside the top ten.
 
Hendry finished in equal sixth at the Gateway to the Mizuno Open following rounds of 70, 69 and a pair of 71’s to finish seven-under, five shots back of Scott Vincent who beat Australian Anthony Quayle in a playoff. He’s 28th on the Japan Tour money list.
 
Josh Geary has also had a solid result on the Challenge Tour, finishing in a tie for tenth at six-under at the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge.
 
Geary shots two consecutive 71’s to begin the tournament, a four-under 67 on moving day, and 69 in his final round to record his best finish on the tour this year.
 
After making five birdies in round three, Geary made another four in the fourth round coupled with an eagle and three bogeys, leaving him six-under for the tournament, five shots back of Javier Sainz who defeated Jeremy Freiburghaus in a two-hole playoff.
 
Geary occupies 170th on the Challenge Tour Rankings.
 
Fellow Kiwi Daniel Hillier missed the cut following rounds of 78 and 66.
 
The Keh sisters all teed it up in the Bella Vista Charity Classic on the Women’s All Pro Tour, with Wenyung and Munchin Keh both finding themselves inside the top 25.
 
Wenyung Keh finished in a tie for 14th after shooting 73 and 71 to finish at one-over.
 
Her elder sister Munchin Keh finished in a tie for 24th a couple of shots behind after rounds of 76 and 70.
 
The youngest sister Siyi shot 76 and 75 to finish eight over and in a share of 51st.
 
Nick Voke has recorded his best finish of the year on the Korn Ferry Tour at the NV5 Invitational.
 
He finished in equal 21st at 12-under-par after carding 65, 70, 73, and 64.
 
Voke saved his best round till last. He got off to a solid start, making birdies at one and eight to make the turn at two-under.
 
He caught fire on the back, making five birdies at the 11th, 12th, 15th, 16th, and 18th holes to come home in five-under to shoot a seven-under 65.
 
Voke moves into 122nd in The 25, the Korn Ferry Tour’s season-long points race.
 
Amelia Garvey also finished in a share of 21st on the Epson Tour.
 
Garvey finished one-under-par after rounds of 72, 71, and 75.
 
Finally, Danny Lee has also saved his best round till last, moving up 42 places on the final day courtesy of a five-under 67.
 
He finished on a one-under-par total after shooting 73, 64, and 77 in the first three rounds.
