Ryder Cup

Obviously there are no Kiwis playing at the Ryder Cup this week but it should be a great watch none the less! Played at Le Golf National in Paris this year, it won’t be ideal timing for TV in NZ, but with the players involved and the form they have been in recently, its sure to be a tight contest!

NZPGA Pro Am Circuit

The second half of the NZPGA pro am circuit kicks off in the ‘Top of the South’ this week. First up is the Total Golf Nelson Pro am, followed by the Whitehaven Wines Marlborough Pro am. The players then head down the east coast to the Hellers and Friends Kaikoura pro am, always a popular event for the professionals, both on the course and off, with plenty of crayfish on offer to make up for a rough score.

Check the entry lists to see if your local pro is making the trip south.

Asian Tour

Ben Campbell tees it up at the Taiwan Masters this week. Campbell is stoked to have the chance to play, considering he thought he may be in line for surgery on an injured hip, which would have seen him sidelined for the remainder of the year. Luckily, some good physio work has him back in gear and ready to go.
