Brooks Koepka Wins US Open
 
Lydia Ko finishes 10th
 
Shaun Jones- missed cut on Alps Tour
 
Liv Cheng- moves up to 9th in Volvik race for the card
 
 US OPEN 
 
Brooks Koepka had a convincing four stroke victory in the 2017 US Open. Koepka has had a different pathway to the top after battling away on tours around the world. He had four wins on the European Challenge Tour before progressing to the main European Tour and after wins there and in Japan finally progressed to the PGA Tour where he won the 2015 Waste management Phoenix Open.
Koepka is projected to move to 5th position in the Fed Ex Cup with Danny Lee 85th, Tim Wilkinson 149th and Steve Alker 173rd
 
 Lydia Ko returned to the tournament scene after a three week break and scored rounds of 65, 71, 64, 68 to finish tied for 10th place at 12 under par around the par 69 layout.
 
Shaun Jones missed the cut this week after rounds of 71, 74. Shaun is playing on the Alps Tour and has already had a 6th and 7th placing this season.
 
Auckland Professional Liv Cheng scored 71, 72 and a final round of 67 to finish in a tie for 12th place on the Symetra Tour his week. This moves her into 9th place in the Volvik race for the card keeping her in contention for a card on the LPGA Tour.

LPGA- Lydia Ko will be defending her title at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
 
Alps Tour- Shaun Jones will be playing in the 2017 Open International De La Mirabelle D’or

Waikato golfer Nick Coxon has just turned professional and will tee it up this week in a West Florida Golf Tour event.
 
Ryan Fox will be hoping for a good performance in the BMW International Open being played in Germany as part of the European Tour.
 
Korean Tour 
Ben Campbell and Harry Na are both playing in the 60th Korean PGA Championship
 
China Tour
Dan Pearce, Josh Geary, Fraser Wilkin and Matthew Perry are all playing in the Beijing Open 
 
USPGA Tour
Danny Lee, Steve Alker and Tim Wilkinson will all tee it up this week in the Travelers Championship at the TPC River Highlands Course.
