Perry Parker wins at Russley
Perry Parker won the Cockram Motors Russley Pro am today with a par round of 72. Strong north westerly winds and fast greens made scoring difficult throughout the day and Parker who played in the morning group who teed off at 8am was surprised to learn that his score had lasted the day and that he had bested the 57 Professionals playing. In secong place was Mike Harwood on 73 and four players, Tim Elliott, Martin Pettigrew, Darren Rix and Paul Powell shared third place on 74. Sir Bob Charles won the Super Seniors section with 78 from Elliott Booth and David Good.
