Brad Shilton continued his run of good form today with a comfortable six stroke victory in the John Jones Steel Harewood Open. Brad won his section of the second stage of the Japan Tour Qualitying event two weeks ago and followed that with a third place finish in the $1.5 million Fiji International last week. The win today will give him another boost of confidence as he prepares for some big events to end the season. Brad will have a well-earned rest next week before returning to Japan for the third stage of Qualifying and then returns to Australia for the final events of the season. Shilton sits in 7th place on the Australasian Order of merit and has a chance to challenge the current OOM leader Mike Hendry for the OOM title.

Shilton finished on 16 under par and won by six from Josh Geary who rattled home with a stunning nine under par 63.In third place was evergreen professional Mark Brown on nine under.

Rose Zheng completed a very impressive performance this week to win the ladies section with a final round 65 today and a winning total of 17 under par. This was a fantastic performance for the 14 year old Auckland junior and she shows great promise for the future. Rose won by seven strokes from defending champion Chantelle Cassidy on ten under and Alanna Campbell finished third on seven under.
