21 year old Masterton amateur Kerry Mountcastle is the leader heading into the final round tomorrow. Kerry had a fine round of 69 today to move one stroke ahead of local professional Dominic Barson. Barson followed up his round of 64 yesterday with a steady 71.
Canterbury professional Shaun Jones moved up the field today with a round of 67 to be in third position at -10 and local boy Steven Heyes is a further stroke back. The weather forecast for tomorrow is for rain so the stage is set for an exciting finish
