Jared Pender scored a stunning seven under par 65 to win the Hawera Pro-am today. Pender hit seventeen greens in regulation and his seven birdies and no bogies was only just good enough to win by one shot from Dan Pearce, on 66 and a further stroke back toJames Devlin and Hayden Beard on 67.
The field of thirty eight professionals enjoyed the fine conditions and now head to the Ngamotu course in New Plymouth for the Augusta Funds Management Taranaki Open presented by Pipe Tech.
