Wilkinson slips to tied 17th

Harbour Town Golf Links, Hilton Head Island, S.C. - Tim Wilkinson rallied late with birdies on the 15th and 16th holes to card a third round 70 to be in a seven way tie for 17th equal, five shots behind leader Jim Furyk with one round to play.

Wilkinson was behind the eight ball from the outset carding a double bogey 5 on the par three fourth hole before birdies on eight and nine to make the turn in even par. His only blemish on the back nine was a bogey 5 on the par four eleventh before making two late birdies. Furyk, on eleven under has a one shot lead over Brian Davis, England and is two shots ahead of a group of seven players including Ricky Barnes, Luke Donald and Boo Weekley on nine under.
