Iles Top Ten Finish on Nationwide Tour

Bradley Iles | Brad Iles put together his best effort to date with an 8th place finish in The Price Cutter Charity Championship on the Nationwide Tour over the weekend. Always in the mix , he was in second place after two rounds, threw in a hard-fought par round 72 on Saturday which dropped him down quite a few places, but rattled home with a 66 on the last day for a seventeen under total of 271. His Order of Merit position changed from 147 to 107, and he is now exempt for all remaining Nationwide Tour events this year.

Tony Christie | Tony Christie had a third and final round of 67 to tie in fifth place in the Samoa Open, played over the weekend at the Royal Samoa Golf Club. Added to his first two rounds of 65 and 73, his total of 205 was 11 under par and seven shots out of first place. The event was won by Josh Lane of NSW, with a dramatic final round of 62, making up eight shots on the over-night leader Bradley Fasher (NSW), to win by the one shot. Other New Zealand scores were Brad Shilton (66-70-71=207 T7th), Michael Hendry (67-72-70=209 12th), Glenn Millin (75-68-69=212 17th) and Brenden Stuart (69-72-66=217 25th).
