Set along the spectacular southern coast of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula 35 minutes north of Auckland, this Robert Trent Jones II designed championship course hosted the 1998 World Cup of Professional Golf & is the host of the 2005 Holden NZ Open. The course combines spectacular ocean views, rolling terrain and classic traditional values that combine to make Gulf Harbour one of the most exciting and challenging courses in New Zealand. Gulf Harbour offers extensive practice facilities including turf practice range, chipping green, practice bunkers and putting greens. Metal spikes are not permitted. The North Shore Golf Club is located on the upper fringes of the Waitemata Harbour, adjacent to the fast growing Albany area.  Features of this picturesque course are 27 tree lined holes that offer players the option of three different 18 hole layouts; Red, Blue and Gold.  Each covers undulating terrain and demands good course management from players of all levels.  The scenic aspect of the club encompasses rural views poised above the natural backdrop of the Lucas Creek escarpment. At City Golf North Shore our team of PGA Professionals are here to improve your game.  Through coaching, video and swing analysis, our coaches can assist you with your practice routines, proper technique and correct equipment selection. While North Shore Golf Club is extensively a members club, visitors are welcome to play at the club on a restricted basis. Because of our large membership, members wishing to bring a green fee player in the weekends, must first telephone the Golf Manager or the starter's kiosk to obtain approval so as not to be disappointed.

Originally formed in 1956, our well established 18 hole golf course features parklike fairways and is centred by an eye-catching series of lakes and ponds, home to a great variety of wildlife.
